I’m Joseph Thomas, a software engineer focused on building reliable tools, APIs and automation. My work spans backend systems, cloud infrastructure and developer tooling, with an emphasis on making engineering workflows simpler and easier to maintain.

I work primarily with Python, FastAPI, AWS and Azure, and increasingly use AI to accelerate development, testing and automation. I’m particularly interested in well-designed systems, practical tooling and software that solves real operational problems.

Outside of work, I build personal projects around data, infrastructure and developer experience to explore new ideas and experiment with technologies beyond my day-to-day work.
